Can a Kia Optima Tow a Travel Trailer or Popup Camper?

This model has a 2.4L engine that can generate 185hp @ 6000. It comes with a 6-speed automatic standard transmission and a combined fuel economy rating of 27 MPG. The vehicle has 18-inches alloy wheels with a machine finish. This trim has the same Torque as the LX; 178 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm with a DOHC four-cylinder system installed with a Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI).

  1. Kia Optima EX 1.6T

The EX has a 1.6L Turbo I-4 engine, which is capable to deliver 178hp @ 5,500 rpm, an upgraded trim from the LX and S model. Also, compared to the other two, it has a torque of 195lb-ft @1500-4500 rpm. This trim option also comes with a DOHC four-cylinder system installed with a Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI). The EX comes with 17-inch alloy tires. This vehicle has a 7-speed dual-clutch standard transmission with a fuel economy rating of 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.

  1. Kia Optima SX 2.0T

This is the last trim option available for Kia Optima 2020, but surely not the least. It has a 2.0L Turbo I-4 engine, which can produce 245hp @ 6000 rpm and a torque of 260lb-ft @ 1,350-4000 rpm. These specs exceed all the previously mentioned trims. However, SX has the same DOHC four-cylinder system installed with a Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI). Whereas, it comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and has a fuel economy rating of 30 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg in the city.
