Betelgeuse pronounced “betelgerz” or “beetlejuice”. In the US it is beetlejuice (bē-tᵊl-ˌjüs) like the movie, in UK it is betelgerz ( be-, -ˌjüz ), both are correct.
It is a red supergiant star in the Orion constellation.
It is going to explode in a supernova soon and may become a black hole.
