The Acadia can tow 4000 lbs with v6 engine and trailer package. The older models from 2010-2016 maxed out at 5200 lbs.
-
2.5 liter, incline-4, front-wheel drive – 1000 lbs

2.5 liter, incline-4, all-wheel drive – 1000 lbs
-
3.6 liter, V-6 engine on front and all wheels drive – 4000 lbs
The 2019 GMC Acadia downsized from its earlier version, enabling it to be more compact and efficient while on the road but large enough to fit plenty of cargo. Being a smaller size than most of its competitors makes it capable of leveraging a V4 engine as the base option, instead of the costlier V6.
It has the power to pull a small camper. Note weight by type: travel trailers 7200 lbs, popups 1500 lbs, teardrops 1200 lbs.
