Propane RV Dryer Appliance [Can You Use Them?]

Unattended propane appliances are not allowed inside RVs.

Propane dryers use a lot of gas, this adds weight.

The main reason they not a good idea is venting of exhaust, and receiving combustion air from outside.

You can get an electric dryer instead.

  • Odorless, except has added smell
  • Colorless
  • Source of 2 percent of US energy
  • Used for heating, cooking, drying
  • 20 lb tank provides 15 hours of cooking
  • Homes use 1200 gallons per year on average
