How to fix
- Inspect the aftertreatment fuel injector: The aftertreatment fuel injector is responsible for injecting fuel into the exhaust system to facilitate the regeneration process. A faulty injector can cause issues with the aftertreatment system and trigger SPN 1761 codes. Check the injector for any signs of damage or wear, and replace it if necessary.
- Check the fuel system: The fuel system is responsible for delivering fuel to the engine and the aftertreatment system. A clogged fuel filter or a malfunctioning fuel pump can cause issues with the fuel system and trigger SPN 1761 codes. Check the fuel filter and fuel pump for any signs of damage or wear, and replace them if necessary.
- Check the wiring and connections: Wiring and connections can become corroded or damaged, causing issues with the aftertreatment system. Check the wiring and connections for any signs of damage or wear, and repair or replace them if necessary.
